so if your dream is to pilot a 747-400 or glide across the oceans in the freedom of the seas, then why not bye a simulator, BUT WAIT, is it really worth it. these things are not cheap and could set you back 100 pounds to 10000 pounds. i personally have one myself and my view is there amazing they really do simulate every aspect of true flight, or you can just hop in a plane and take to the skies. as well as people using them for fun like me, they are also used to train true life pilots working for big companies like virgin or British airways. yet what about you guys who like to keep to the ground and pilot your own cruise ship from the comfort of your office. well I can not personally say myself as I don't have one and it would be wrong information yet a good friend of mine does and has some things he can tell to you guys.
'' zak thomas: Ship simulators are very fun but I personaly dont think they are very realistic. But I have only used Ship Sim 2008, the newer versions such as ship sim extremes does look more realistic but im not sure that the game play will?. If you like ships, it is a good buy as a game but coming from someone that has visited the bridge on one of the worlds biggest ships (independence of the seas) there is no way i believe that you can simulate what goes on there. How ever for the small price i do belive its worth a buy as its great fun and passes the time with ease.''

Overall i think GET ONE, there great fun and can really help in the long run.
